Children's Ministry
At Palmerdale UMC, we recognize that for kids of every age joy comes from God. So, our children's ministry focuses first on helping kids connect with God and his story as told in the bible. In all of our programs, kids are encouraged to enjoy learning and growing through fun, study, and experience who God is and who he made them to be.
We also recognize that this world is not always welcoming to children, and that there are those who wish to harm them. Therefore, our children's ministry practices safe sanctuaries. Volunteers are screened and undergo background checks and security. Volunteers patrol the church during activities.

 This is a children’s worship service with awesome worship music that is lead by the children. Lacey & Brittany Wynn and Kristina & David Butts will be teaching for August. During the month of August the children will learn about Mighty Men of God. The children are in age appropriate classrooms where they learn about Jesus.
Preschool - 3rd Grade use the Hands on Bible Curriculum by Group to help them experience the fun and live the truth! Each child is given their very own Hands on Bible to experience God's Word and share it with their family.
The 4th & 5th Grade use Grapple Curriculum by Group. Grapple delivers Bible Truths the way your preteen wants to hear it. Each week your preteen will be engaged through attention-grabbing lessons, thought-provoking videos, fun games, and deep, life-changing Bible Lessons. Each preteen gets their very own safe and secure online community to heip stay connected with each other & their teacher.

WNA begins with Praise and Worship music in the gym at 6:30. TeamKids bible study begins at 7:00 pm upstairs in age appropriate small groups for preschoolers - 3rd grade. This is a fun and exciting way to learn about Jesus. They learn through games, stories, snack and missions! The 4th and 5th graders meet upstairs in the Pre-teen area and participate in Bible skills, drills, and thrills. Fun, Fun, Fun !!!!

Lock-In for rising 4th, 5th & 6th grade will be August 6th.
Promotion Sunday will be August 15th for Sunday School.
WNA starts back on August 25th.
Kneel & Heel night will be on September 22nd.
In addition to weekly children's activities, a nursery is available during all church sponsored activities
